RESPONSIBILITIES

    The ABS-CBN YouTube / Facebook Team seeks a digital video strategist seeks to coordinate and enhance the ABS-CBN-owned YouTube / Facebook channels. Reporting to the YouTube / Facebook Strategy and Monetization Head, the successful candidate will oversee the ABS-CBN-owned YouTube / Facebook channels as a revenue-generating platform. In addition, he or she has proficiency in the use of CMS, copyright, claims, and analytics.
     
    • Channel Optimization 
      • Implement audience development strategies on ABS-CBN-owned YouTube / Facebook channels
      • Optimize content for maximum visibility and ranking across the YouTube / Facebook platform
      • Creation of channel art, channel icon, thumbnails, end screens, and artcards
      • Write accurate, concise and clear video titles, video descriptions, ang tags
      • Regularly update the channel frontdoor to promote fresh and relevant content
      • Transcode videos into their correct format
     
    • Monetization
      • Maximize the revenue potential of each video uploaded in the platform
      • Scale and optimize the monetization of ABS-CBN’s assets with a deep understanding of digital rights, advanced analytics, and complex claiming scenarios
      • Assess channel and monetization performance leveraging knowledge of the YouTube / Facebook  ecosystem and platform strategies
     
    • Digital Rights
      • Ensure that the audio and video presented in the content do not contain third-party materials
      • Distinguish complex territorial rights and multi-party ownership issues
     
    • Analysis
      • Analyze and interpret performance of videos and channels on a regular basis
      • Generates reports needed by business units and content owners 

REQUIREMENTS

    • College Graduate
    • 2-3 years of work experience
    • Has excellent writing skills; Social media writing experience is a plus
    • Experience in video editing and Adobe Photoshop required
    • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
    • Experience in YouTube channel operations is a plus
