Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and developing strategies and implementation of brand/content marketing initiatives (ex. strategy execution, promotional campaigns ideation and implementation roll-out, synergy with various business units). He/She is tasked to develop and manage marketing campaigns, driving conversations that resonate with target audience, generating awareness and driving viewership to ABS-CBN YouTube Channels and other third-party platforms (i.e., Facebook, etc.)  

    Strategy and Planning:
    • Integrated marketing and communication strategies to build awareness, discoverability and conversation resulting to driving viewership and engage repeat viewing.
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify effective touchpoints to reach target audience and maximize available communication channels.
    • Check market trends and audience needs in relation to assigned content/brand initiatives.
    • Creative media planning and developing unique/disruptive campaigns that can engage and drive viewership.
     
    Implementation and Execution:
    • Lead the implementation of the integrated marketing communications plans (360 campaign) through development and production of all marketing materials.
    • Lead the planning and execution of promotional efforts.  
    • Monitors performance of campaigns and content viewership; agile in pivoting plans.
    • Handle all promotional campaigns and media placements in coordination with cross functional teams - creatives, publishers, and external agencies.
    • Leads and coordinate with teams that ensure the development, design, production and rollout of marketing materials.

REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 1 year experience in marketing/digital marketing; with experience in developing campaigns from the ground up – positioning, audience targeting, media strategy, art/creatives, and timelines/roadmaps
    • Background in entertainment marketing a plus
    • Creative and strategic
    • Data-savvy
    • Clear, concise communication skills
    • Knowledgeable about different varieties of entertainment content especially Filipino programs, movies, etc. 
    • Familiarity with ABS-CBN content a plus
    • Fan of pop culture and aware of goings-on in local Filipino entertainment scene
    • Disciplined in managing his/her own time
